NCLEX
I passed with 130 questions!
I'm very thankful and happy to have used this review course because i passed the nclex. i will definitely recommend this to my fellow future RNs. the questions are very similar to the exam. thank you NCSBN!!!
Passed Nclex on first try w/265 questions, Pearson trick works! NCSBN is the best review out there!
I passed Nclex on my first try with 265 questions. I was very nervous taking the test but I passed! I think NCSBN is a great and excellent study tool, not only is it inexpensive but it doesn't cram a whole bunch of information together! I had brought Hurst, brought Kaplan, brought elseviers adaptive quizzing, but none of them compared to NCSBN! After purchasing all those EXPENSIVE resources and studying them, I still wasn't comprehending and was scoring very low on their practice questions. A week before my scheduled Nclex testing date one of my peers suggested the NCSBN review (which I never even heard of) I purchased the 3week course (which was beyond cheap compared to all the other reviews!) and thought I could just use it for a week until my test. After having it for a week, I loved it! I was actually able to focus on the material as well as learn how to answer questions. I pushed back my test date for 2wks so that I could complete the course. When I went to take the test the questions where in the same format as the practice questions on the NCSBN review. After I reached 75 and the test kept going I was Nervous and when I reached 265 I had convinced my self I failed. One of my classmates had tried the pearson vue trick (PVT) after she took nclex and it had let her pay, the next day she found out she had failed. I decided to try the trick as well but after putting in my cc information and hitting pay I kept getting a pop up that wouldn't allow me to go any further. The next day I found out that I passed! So super long story shortened. NCSBN is the best resource out there to study for NCLEX and PVT worked for me. Also don't get discouraged if you get 265 questions because that doesn't mean you failed and don't give up if you failed on your first time just keep on studying, make a study plan work mostly on your weak area's (fundamentals, med-surg, etc. ) you worked so hard to get this far don't let this one misstep throw you off your game! Good Luck!
Pass the NCLEX .....thank you
I graduated from nursing school a few months ago and was looking for an nclex review program that would help me to pass the nclex. A friend suggested that I tried the 5 weeks ncsbn learning system....I tried it and found it to be very useful. I mainly used the content which helped me a great deal. while taking the nclex exam, I realized that most of the SATA questions I got were linked to content. This course has helped me immensely and I would recommend to everyone who is in the process of taking the nclex. Thank you NCSBN Learning!!!!!
PASSED on my 3RD try!!!!
I took HURST, KAPLAN and UWORLD but failed the first 2 tries with all of those resources. I had lost hope. My friend messaged me and told me about NCSBN review and I took a leap of faith and got the 8-week course. I flew through my NCLEX this time and PASSED!! I owe it all to this review course!!!!!
Passed NCLEX the second time!! Here's my testimony!!!
When I first discovered NCSBN course review, I read the testimonials. And it was those testimonials that encouraged me to use this program my second time around and I am so thankful to God I did because I passed.
The first time I prepared for the NCLEX I used Kaplan. My school paid for it and had used it with the previous classes so I assumed that it would work for me but it didn't.Besides that program not working for me personally, here are a few other things I did wrong:
(1) I didn't do any content review because everyone told me to do questions and I'll be fine, but if you are weak in your content please take some time to review.
(2) I studied too many hours a day. From morning to night I was doing questions and reviewing, not giving my brain time to relax. From reading different testimonies on this website, I learned that 3-4 hours a day was enough along with taking breaks on the weekends.
(3) I rushed to take the test. I graduated Dec 12th 2015 and I took the test the first time Feb 5 2016. I was trying to keep up with my classmates and rushed to take my test, but that wasn't how my mind worked. I've always needed to take my time while studying through nursing school so it shouldn't have been any different when studying for the NCLEX. I know you are excited about being done and starting the next chapter as was I, but stay true to who you are. If you needed time to study during nursing school, use the same thought process with the NCLEX.
I purchased the 8 week program but didn't finish getting through it so I purchased another 5 weeks and was able to get through everything. The questions on NCLEX were so similar to the practice questions so that definitely eased my mind. While doing practice questions, I eventually learned how to know what the question was asking which helped me a lot. If this is your second time taking it I would highly suggest that you use this program. Use notes of affirmation to keep you encouraged while studying. I had post-it in my clear view with bible scriptures along with one saying "I will pass the NCLEX with God", "I have already passed this test". I repeated it everyday before I studied and after. Pray and believe that you will get it the second time around. God didn't bring you through nursing school only for you to stop here!!!!
Many Blessings on your journey to live in your purpose!
Passed NCLEX
Hello!
I wanted to share my exciting news! I passed the NCLEX ! I have to say that NCSBN website is a great tool to prepare for the exam. I want to thank you for your help!
Sincerely,
Elena K.
Passed NCLEX with 75 questions!
NCSBN learning extension NCLEX-RN review helped me pass the exam. The practice questions were very similar to the actual test. It trains you to answer the questions properly. All thanks to NCSBN NCLEX-RN review!
Passed NCLEX first try!
Just found out that I passed the exam! I doubted myself and was really worried of the results. I felt that I am getting easy level questions. I left the testing center devastated.
Thank you Learning extension for this great review resources. Kudos to all of you! Helped me a lot!
To all those you are preparing for their exam! You can make it too! GoOd luck and God bless us all!
PASSED NCLEX FIRST TIME
I enrolled in the online review course with NCSBN and I thought it was awesome. It really helped me prepare.
Need Advice!!!
Hello everyone,
I am a recent graduate and I have been using this program the last few weeks to help me prepare for the NCLEX. I have been scoring high 50s and 60s on my quiz and I am feeling scared. I take NCLEX in about a week, has anyone had these scores and was able to pass first try?
Thank you,
2016 Grad
I PASSED WITH 88 questions
God is great!!!! I thank God I found this review program.I am so happy to have used NCSBN nclex rn review. This is the best review by far!!!! I had about 15 Select all that apply, 1 math and the rest were prioritization questions. This review program surely trained me well and I felt over prepared for the exam. I was out of the center in 1hr 30min feeling confident that I passed. I tried the Pearson vue trick and got the good pop up. I was so excited and the next day around 2pm my license was posted on board of nursing. I'm so grateful to God.This program is very similar to nclex.
NCLEX
Did the 3 week course along with Kaplan (school bought as part of our tuition) and passed the NCLEX today. NCLEX shut off after 75 questions.
Passed in 75!
I used the 3 Week NCSBN tutorial and cannot recommend it enough. The price was exactly right, and I enjoyed being able to study all morning, then do some questions and have the afternoon off to let my brain rest. I really thought that these were the closest format to the actual NCLEX questions too. ATI comprehensive (if your school does that) is a close second. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
Passed NCLEX on my first attempt w/ 79 questions!!!!
I used Hurst and NCSBN Learning Extension and passed the NCLEX a week ago with 79 questions. None of the questions are really the same as what is on NCLEX but both resources teach you how to answer NCLEX style questions and what to look for. Pay attention to rationales and you will do well. Never give up on yourself and trust that you know the information.
Passed NCLEX on 1st Attempt !!!
I passed my nclex examination on my first attempt with 75 questions. A friend shared the website with me when I was getting ready to graduate from my nursing school. I took my NCLEX 9 days after graduation. I think it's worth passing the information on to others who might be looking for help. I want to recommend NCSBN learning material to students who are looking for a concise but complete test plan material for their NCLEX review. I bought the 5 weeks review plan. I used other materials such as the ATI books, Saunders and La Charity. I believe with God and some good effort in studying, you will come out of NCLEX with your license in your hands. I pray God's best for the RN's to be. blessings !!
NAILED IT WITH 1st ATTEMPT! 75 QSNS!!!(Africa-Kenya)
I am a foreign educated nurse, sat for my NCLEX on 29th June for the first time and passed with 75 questions!! NCSBN is a very vital revision material for NCLEX, i did a 5 weeks course and i can testify now it really helped me so much. The content and revision questions well structured and informative.I recommend it to any nursing student preparing to sit for NCLEX. Thank you NCSBN.

Passed the first time with 75
I passed on my first try with 75 questions!!!!! I thought I failed, because there were so many ATA questions, probably around 50 or more ad they were getting harder and harder… so I thought there is no chance for me to pass. I was so nervous and I couldn’t believe that this is happening to me… At some point I just wanted to get up and leave without finishing the test :-D… Thank God I stayed…Ok, besides 50 ATA there were around 15 prioritization questions and only 10 basic knowledge, straight forward questions, and one easy mathematic question….It took me 2 hours and 5 minutes to take the test because the questions were so ambiguous, that I thought it’s not going to help me if I stay longer ( the questions looked all the same - the answers looked all the same...), so I just did it with my best feeling without spending too much time analyzing it. So when the computer shut off at 75, I was so disappointed, because I felt that it was unfair that I got all those ATA questions, which is easy to get them wrong, and I wasn’t given another chance to progress with the exam….I thought I failed…Those 2 hours seemed like 5-10 minutes to me, I completely lost the perception of time...:-D
Anyway ...the first thing I did, I read the Saunders 5 edition review book, doing questions on the CD after each chapter. After I finished all the book I did all the CD questions again, then ,,Nclex 4000 CD”- it’s harder, after that ,,Nclex RN made Incredibly Easy”, ,,RN Exam Cram” and finally NCSBN course questions- and the banks. For me the text on NCSBN was too overwhelming, so I just skimmed through it. Besides that I had flash cards everywhere in the bathroom, on the mirrors etc…Good luck to everybody and don’t get discouraged!!!!! I am a foreign graduate in 1998, I am not the youngest anymore, so the brain ,the memory and learning skills are not the same as 20 years ago… and I did it, studying by myself….So you can do it!!!!!
pass nclex first time 75 questions after 3 years of graduation
I promised my self that if i passed the nclex i will come back here to write , because i know that during the days before nclex i was looking all over the web for stories about it from students who took it before me. i bought the 12 weeks course , i was doing between 80 to 100 questions per day and i read the whole lessons , i also used the nclex mastery for more questions when i finished the ones from here. i was studying 3 to 4 hours per day ( couldn't do more because is hard with a toddler at home haha). so all i wanted to say is basically that this is a great review for nclex and trust your selves, you can do it!! and also i was able to see my result from the BON site 24 hours after taking my board for free and four hours later my license number was already posted , happiest day of this year!! good luck to every one and thanks to the ncsbn learning extension staff for making such a great review for all of us.
PASSED NCLEX 1ST ATTEMPT WITH 115 QUESTIONS!!!!
I took the nclex on Jun 28th. When I arrived home, I tried the pearson vue trick and received a message that prohibited me from re-registering. My nursing license was posted the next day! I purchased the 3 week subscription on June 1st. Thanks to learning extension I was more than prepared in just 3 weeks time! I was amazed at how similar the nclex questions were to learning extension questions. I just took my time, read the questions, focused on the stem of the questions, and identified key words such as first, immediate need, and priority intervention just to name a few. Don't get nervous if you go past 75. On average, the number of questions taken is 115-120. Don't read into the questions and add info that's not there. Use only what the question tells you. Learning Extension is the key to success for passing the NCLEX!!! Trust me! I'm a working mother of 3 and barely had time to study, but with learning extension I was able to prepare and pass NCLEX!!! I have friends who did HURST REVIEW and KAPLAN REVIEW but weren't successful on NCLEX. Now, they too have signed up for NCSBN Learning Extension after hearing I passed on my 1st try!! HURST and KAPLAN are okay, but learning extension is AWESOME!!! And get this, It doesn't cost an arm and a leg!! THANK YOU LEARNING EXTENSION for helping to make my dream come true!!!
